What You Can Expect
Over two exciting years, you’ll gain hands-on experiences and become an active part of your team’s daily activities. Through impactful projects in three customized assignments - including an eight-month international placement - you’ll gain a deep understanding of Siemens Energy. A dedicated mentor will support you every step of the way, giving you the chance to explore different roles, engage in immersive experiences, and build a strong network with peers and industry leaders.
You will be part of our Gas Services Solutions Project Management Team as technical project support, implementing exciting and complex international power plant solution projects. You will be converting customer inquiries from the planning phase, including design engineering, supply chain, construction, site installation, commissioning & testing, until the final handover of the project.
How You’ll Make an Impact
As part of our Graduate Program, you are on the Siemens Energy team. You’ll share our purpose in energizing society by supporting customers with transitioning to a more sustainable world and work on real global issues, creating solutions that directly make an impact.
1. Support the Technical Project Manager and collaborate closely with core team members across various functions, including Commercial Project Management, Project Engineering, Site Management, Quality, Health & Safety, and Commodity Management
2. Ensure timely implementation of large and complex power plant projects, meeting the expectations of both internal and external stakeholders
3. Manage the technical and contractual aspects of projects with external customers, directly impacting customer satisfaction through effective people management skills and a willingness to embrace new challenges across diverse countries and cultures
4. Act as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding topics related to contracts, permits, coordination of inspections, general reporting, and more
What You Bring
5. Strong interest to work in a solution driven environment
6. Creativity and positive attitude towards challenges as well as excellent communication skills
7. Relevant experience through internships and/or working student roles is essential, ideally in project management; additional permanent work experience of up to 36 months is welcome
8. A master's or doctoral degree in industrial engineering or a similar technical field with an additional Business Administration background
9. Minimum of 3 months of international experience gained through studying or working
10. Excellent English skills to engage in a multicultural environment, with flexibility and willingness for international travel; advanced German language skills to communicate locally
Gas Services
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
