Integration and Testing Expert
We are seeking a highly skilled Integration and Testing Specialist to lead our software development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of OBS packages by implementing effective integration and testing strategies.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Unix and Linux systems, as well as experience with shell scripting (bash, ksh), Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, and test automation. Additionally, familiarity with tax modules, including FATCA CRS, QI, and withholding tax reporting, would be considered an advantage.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and production teams, to implement improvements and resolve technical issues. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to collaborate effectively with business teams and provide top-notch support during the FAT/UAT test phases.
Key responsibilities include:
* Test execution and documentation of OBS deliveries from our Software Provider on SIT/FAT and support of UAT tests
* Identifying and troubleshooting issues within deliveries, implementing corrective configurations as needed, and taking full responsibility for the production deployment process
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and resolve technical issues
* Continuous collaboration with business teams to understand business needs and support FAT/UAT test phases
In addition to your technical expertise, you will also possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Requirements:
* Profound understanding of Unix and Linux systems
* Shell scripting (bash, ksh)
* Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
* Experience using COBOL would be considered a valuable asset
* Test automation
* General banking knowledge
* Tax modules: familiarity with tax and/or FATCA CRS, QI, withholding tax reporting would be considered as an advantage
* Gitlab / GIT
Language skills:
* Fluent in English
* Proficiency in German would be considered a valuable asset
