Thorough understanding of project/program management methodologies and tools. A contributor to the strategic direction of the project management organization. Responsibilities Plans, budgets, and secures staffing for the projects/programs they manage Effectively completes projects/programs on‑time, on‑cost, and on‑quality Manages risks, issues, and compliance across programs and/or projects under their responsibility Resolves conflicts and escalates topics appropriately Communicates tasks, roles, expectations, and accountabilities to all team members regularly Promotes and develops best practices in program and project management Works across organizational boundaries and functions to drive improvement and resolve escalated issues Documents project and program Lessons Learned to foster continuous improvement Provides training and consulting for other program/project managers when needed; provides technical and analytical guidance to project teams Supports different stages of the project management lifecycle, utilizing tools and techniques to produce reports on performance, budgets, and schedules Qualifications Generally requires Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field with 12+ years of experience; or Master’s with 10+ years; or PhD with 6+ years; or local equivalent Formal project or program management education; PgMP or PMP certification are a plus Automotive industry experience is preferred Extensive experience in project, program, and resource management Experience including evaluation of projects, programs, and business cases Very good knowledge of German and English language Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level Employment Type Full-time Job Function Project Management and Information Technology Industries Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing Location Alzey, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany #J-18808-Ljbffr
