How you can make a difference:
1. Manage, support, and expand the portfolio of distributors in the assigned region.
2. Evaluate distributor performance regularly (sales results, pipeline, customer engagement, marketing activities).
3. Negotiate distribution agreements, price lists, and annual targets.
4. Ensure distributors comply with brand guidelines, commercial policies, and contractual obligations.
5. Identify, onboard, and train new distributors when needed to strengthen coverage.
6. Sales & Business Development.
7. Achieve and exceed sales targets by working closely with distributors to generate end-customer demand.
8. Support distributors in acquiring new accounts in academia, pharma, diagnostics, and industrial labs.
9. Conduct joint visits, product demonstrations, and customer presentations.
10. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and identify growth opportunities.
11. Build sales forecasts and secure predictable revenue streams.
12. Provide product, application, and commercial training to distributor sales teams.
13. Develop sales tools, presentations, and campaigns in collaboration with Marketing.
14. Ensure distributors are confident in positioning the company’s standard laboratory product portfolio.
15. Report regularly on distributor performance, opportunities, and risks to management.
16. Maintain accurate records in CRM regarding opportunities, contacts, and activities.
17. Work cross-functionally with Product Management, Marketing and Customer Service to resolve issues and accelerate business.
That’s what you bring along:
18. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry or Business Administration
19. Proven track record of building successful distributor partnerships and achieving sales growth.
20. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales, distributor management, or business development in the laboratory, medical device, or life-science market.
21. Strong understanding of laboratory workflows, consumables, and routine laboratory liquid handling tasks
22. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
23. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability; capable of setting priorities in a fast-changing environment.
24. Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
25. Fluency in English; additional European language(s) such as German or French is a strong plus.
26. Willingness to travel (30–50%) across the assigned region.
27. Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership of results.
28. Strong relationship builder with distributors and end-customers.
29. Strategic thinker combined with hands-on execution capable of finding creative solutions when facing complex problems.
