Twentyfour Industries
We are an early-stage startup funded by leading European VCs with the mission to build advanced small Unmanned Systems to strengthen European sovereignty and security.
What we’re looking for
We’re hiring a Senior Production Engineer to take the lead in designing and developing our assembly processes and production flow for small UAVs. This is a hands-on, high-impact role responsible for translating designs into scalable, efficient, and robust production systems. In addition to leading our efforts to build our own manufacturing lines, the role directly supports the R&D team with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) initiatives.
The day-to-day
* Design, document, and implement scalable assembly processes for our small UAV platforms.
* Collaborate closely with R&D to ensure new designs are optimized for manufacturability and assembly.
* Develop, build and commission jigs, fixtures, and tooling to enable efficient, repeatable production.
* Define material flow, work instructions, and standard operating procedures for production lines.
* Troubleshoot production issues on the shop floor and continuously improve processes for quality, cost, and throughput.
* Work hands-on with prototypes, test rigs, and production hardware to validate process changes.
* Contribute to setting up our first in-house manufacturing line, from layout design to ramp-up.
You should apply if you
* Engineer with 5+ years of experience in production, manufacturing, or industrial engineering, preferably in aerospace, automotive, or robotics.
* Expertise in designing assembly processes, define material flow for complex electromechanical products, create work instructions.
* Experience developing and commissioning assembly fixtures, jigs, and tooling.
* Proven ability to lead DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly) initiatives.
* Excellent CAD skills (preferably in SolidWorks proficiency).
* Strong collaboration skills to work with design, supply chain, and external manufacturing partners.
* Hands-on, practical mindset with ability to prototype, test, and iterate quickly.
* Familiarity with quality control processes and lean manufacturing principles.
* Eligible to obtain NATO or EU security clearance.
Nice to haves
* Background in setting up small-scale production lines from scratch.
* Experience with ERP/MES systems and digital manufacturing tools.
* Knowledge of automation technologies for small-scale assembly.
* Experience with UAV or aerospace production standards.
* Familiarity with PFMEA, control plans, and other manufacturing engineering documentation.
* Machining experience (milling, turning etc.).
What we offer
* Competitive salary and equity options.
* High-impact role shaping the production backbone of next-generation UAV platforms.
* Collaborative, innovative startup environment with flexible working conditions.
* Remote work and relocation support available for top candidates.
