Purpose:
Support the effective and efficient operational success of the Global Merchandising team, through management of projects and strategic initiatives, assisting in management of inter-department operational activities, and coordination of processes with other departments.
Key Accountabilities:
* Support assigned board level brand projects, ensuring timely and high-quality completion
* Contribute to the successful running and completion of assigned strategic, operational projects
* Manage department-wide, operation-oriented projects
* Support cross-functional department participation in initiatives following brand milestones
* Manage department annual calendar
* Conduct assigned research utilising own resources, consumer insights, other company resources
* Develop and create department presentations
* Participate in key discussions acting as sounding board, contributing with a merchandising mindset
* Stay on top of business, organisational, and industry trends
* Contribute ideas and techniques that enable Global Merchandising to run at high level of efficiency
Knowledge, Capabilities and Experience:
* IT skills: Macintosh software, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint: advanced
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Excellent presentation skills
* Self-starter and self-motivated
* Business and Marketing knowledge
* Project Management skills
* Language: English: fluent
Another European Language: advantageous
Qualifications:
1. University degree or Abitur with equivalent work experience
2. At least 2 year experience or internships in a related area (agency or company)
3. Passion for adidas and its mission
4. Passion for sports
