The Peripheral Vascular Health (PVH) Operating Unit is dedicated to the treatment of peripheral arterial and venous diseases. We offer our physician customers a comprehensive suite of products and therapies to treat varying degrees of vascular disease — disorders of the circulatory system outside of the brain and heart. Our goal is to help healthcare professionals save limbs, reduce pain, and treat disease — so their patients can get back to enjoying what they love.
A Day in the Life
As a Product Manager for Peripheral Vascular Therapies in Germany, you will be responsible for driving marketing activities to accelerate the adoption of our Peripheral Vascular therapies such as PAD, AV access and Carotid. This position is pivotal to accelerating market adoption, supporting commercial execution, and ensuring best-in-class product launches and lifecycle management.
This role will cover Germany and is a remote role. This means your home/remote location is the primary work location. There may however be requirements to attend a Medtronic location for meetings from time to time.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
1. Develop and execute strategic, data-driven marketing plans for the German market, including customer segmentation, positioning, messaging, pricing strategy and tactical implementation.
2. Consistently and effectively communicate appropriate product, market, clinical, and competitive information to the local sales organization and ensure field presence.
3. Coordinates the participation to local conferences and events, including booth, contracts, and speakers.
4. Leads new product launches, including pricing strategy, internal training, dissemination of promotional materials, internal and external communications, and launch tracking.
5. Ensures the dissemination of the latest scientific data at local conferences and events.
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and leverage their expertise to promote clinical adoption and support educational initiatives.
7. Manages local supply and demand activities, including the prioritization of product allocations.
8. Ensures marketing expenses stay within the approved budget (Annual Operating Plan).
9. Supports local tender applications by providing the necessary product, technical and clinical information.
10. Develop competitive and market intelligence in collaboration with sales organization and third parties.
Must Haves
11. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or engineering.
12. Min 5 years of experience in marketing in the medical device industry in a national and/or international role.
13. Advanced IT skills in MS Office, especially Excel & PowerPoint.
14. Good knowledge of Business Intelligence & CRM software (Tableau, Power BI, Salesforce).
15. Fluent in German and English, with excellent communication skills tailored to diverse internal and external stakeholders.
16. Open to travel up to 50% within Germany.
