The SAP Public Cloud Project Manager leads the Finance & Controlling workstream by driving project planning, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring seamless integration across all functional areas. This role combines hands-on execution in process design, testing, and compliance with proactive management of timelines, risks, and deliverables to support a successful SAP Public Cloud implementation.
Project Planning & Management
Develop and maintain detailed project plans for the Finance & Controlling workstream, covering timelines, deliverables, and resource needs
Work closely with Finance & Controlling business experts to ensure requirements are clearly defined and successfully implemented
Coordinate with the SAP Public Cloud Delivery Lead and other workstream leads to ensure seamless integration across all functional areas
Support the design and validation of Finance & Controlling processes within SAP Public Cloud
Ensure the execution of testing strategies (Unit, SIT, UAT) for FICO scenarios in accordance with the SAP Activate methodology
Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for all Finance & Controlling–related topics
Provide regular updates to project leadership and stakeholders on progress, risks, and mitigation actions
Quality & Compliance
Ensure adherence to SAP Public Cloud standards and established best practices
Validate deliverables and ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
3–5 years of experience in SAP project management with a clear focus on Finance & Controlling
~ Proven track record in managing SAP Public Cloud projects or workstreams end-to-end
~ Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance & Controlling modules, including General Ledger, AP/AR, Asset Accounting, and Cost Center Accounting
~ Familiarity with the SAP Activate methodology and cloud deployment best practices
~ SAP S/4HANA Finance certification preferred
~ PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus
~ Fluent in English (C1) & Conversational in German (B2)
