The Task
* Developing software programmes for the PLC control systems of our assembly lines
* Creating PLC concepts and programmes using Siemens Simatic S7/TIA (and/or Allen Bradley Studio 5000) software, as well as the associated visualisation systems
* Independently implementing programming methods and specifications in accordance with the specified standards
* Creating and implementing concepts in machine programming for automatic functions, collision avoidance, product tracking, home position functions and reworking processes
* Mentoring less experienced colleagues
* Assisting with the preparation of system documentation
* Close collaboration with other specialist departments in design, electrical planning, commissioning and process optimisation
* Qualification and acceptance of automation solutions, as well as the optimisation of process and functional workflows
Your Profile
* Experience in PLC programming (S7 Classic and TIA Portal and/or Allen-Bradley Studio 5000) and the associated visualisation
* Proficiency in MS Office applications
* In-depth technical understanding of automated production lines, assembly modules and robot cells
* Knowledge of special-purpose machinery, mechatronic assemblies, and electromechanical and hydromechanical products is an advantage
* High level of customer and service orientation
* Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
* Ability to set, prioritise, streamline and communicate priorities effectively
* Independent and structured approach to work and a confident manner when dealing with customers
* As we are an internationally operating company, a willingness to travel is essential
