Your role The research and development specialist will develop tests in Mathematics for Grades 3 and 5 in specific and be involved in the development of achievement tests in general (languages & mathematics): Contribute to and support the development of new and innovative psychometric measures within the Épreuves Standardisées - ÉpStan Translate developed tests and related materials to make them accessible for the international public schools Translate student questionnaires assessed within ÉpStan Support the coordination, quality assurance and control, and logistics of ÉpStan Perform statistical analyses on data emerging from ÉpStan in regards to the Mathematics tests Present research findings to other team members or researchers Contribute to and support ongoing and future research projects related to ÉpStan and other projects within LUCET Contribute to scientific articles, reports and presentations, as well as LUCET's public outreach efforts Perform any other tasks within the framework of the position
Your profile First experience in psycho-educational large-scale assessment Interest in addressing psychometric research questions that arise in the context of test development Basic understanding of statistics and willingness to learn First experience in the coordination and moderation of teams Knowledge about school systems in general and the Luxembourg school system in specific is a plus Proactive and good integration into existing working groups Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team Fluency in German or French is required.
