Media Account Manager Germany, Austria & the Netherlands

The Media Account Manager is responsible for licensing Reuters’ news and services to the media and the media monitoring industry. Our customers are broadcasters, print and digital publishers, corporations and governments engaged in media monitoring. We provide our clients with multi-media content solutions as well as with SaaS from Reuters Imagen. Our products include video & text feeds, pictures & graphics, packaged content, syndication services and media asset management systems.
As Media Account Manager at Reuters you will:
You'll develop a pipeline of qualified opportunities and manage the sales cycle to meet revenue targets.
Maintain accurate reporting via Salesforce CRM : forecasts, account plans, and pipeline updates.
Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets through securing new business and contract renewals to meet and exceed expectations, as agreed with the Head of Media Sales.
Remain at the forefront of industry innovation by staying informed on emerging trends across media, PR, sales strategies, and evolving technology, including AI applications and models.
Craft impactful proposals, lead negotiations and close agreements, coordinate key commercial workflows and liaise with our teams in sales enablement, marketing, product, billing and credit control, finance.
To be our Media Account Manager, you bring:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a position with sales responsibility, within media, PR & Communications or a news agency.
You are fluent in German and English and eager to support clients in Germany, Austria and The Netherlands. Demonstrated track record of success in sales and exposure to content licensing is mandatory.
An interest in the media industry. If you have any experience of working with broadcasters, print & digital publishers, online aggregators, media monitoring companies and/or communications divisions in corporations, please indicate this on your application.
