As Advanced Quality Manager (m/f/d) you will drive the Advanced Quality Culture across the EMEA region by leading quality activities for new product and process launches as well as change management. Your work will follow automotive Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) methodology, Clarios’ Power D3 launch process, and IATF 16949 standards. In this position you will be responsible for supporting the development of your direct reports through targeted feedback, coaching and structured development planning. What you will do Lead a team of Advanced Quality Engineers in EMEA, supporting successful product and process launches across the region. Guide and support your team by overcoming roadblocks and exceeding expectations. Ensure appropriate staffing for all active SDTs in collaboration with Program Management and Quality leadership. Secure the necessary training and support for your team in the Power D3 launch process, customer-specific requirements, and key quality tools such as FMEAs, Process Flow Diagrams, Control Plans, and PPAP/PPA. Drive the professional growth of your team through structured development planning and regular feedback. What makes you a good fit Education & Certification Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Quality or Engineering (required). Certified Quality Auditor – advantageous. Trained in Quality Management Systems (QMS) standards including ISO 9001, IATF 16949. Core Competencies Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP): Proven experience implementing APQP processes across development and production phases. Automotive Core Tools Proficiency: FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC. PPAP (Production Part Approval Process). Structured Problem-Solving Methodologies: 8D, Ishikawa Diagrams, 5-Why Analysis. Quality Management Systems: Experience in automotive environments, with understanding of compliance, traceability, and continuous improvement. Technical Knowledge (Lead-Acid) Battery Technology: Familiarity with design, production, and quality control of low-voltage battery systems and automotive battery applications. Software & Tools: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and standard quality documentation tools. Managerial & Communication Skills Leadership in cross-functional teams within development and production settings. Independent project ownership and decision-making. Strong communication skills for customer-facing roles and internal collaboration. Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus for customer and documentation interactions.
