Your Job
What this role looks like.
* Taking full responsibility for the continuous evolution of a product in the area of operational accounting throughout the entire product lifecycle and business process
* Managing the harmonisation of global business process templates across multiple countries
* Creating and updating the product vision, goals and strategy based on market and user information, in line with ALDI’s strategy and the Finance & Administration product organisation
* Actively collaborating and exchanging feedback with users and stakeholders to identify the most valuable requirements and needs
* Assuming responsibility for maximising product value through informed decisions and for the stable operation of the product
* Managing and prioritising the demand backlog, including rejecting requests, clearing the backlog and ensuring transparent communication of decisions
* Assuming responsibility for creating, aligning, refining and ordering product backlog items (e.g. demands, epics, user stories, incidents) and ensuring that the product backlog is accessible, transparent and understood by stakeholders and the team
Your Profile
What you bring with you.
* Product ownership and management skills in theory and practice
* Ability to make decisions in complex environments, promote agile principles and foster continuous improvement
* Profound understanding of processes and tools for operational accounting Experience working within an integrated SAP S/4HANA system or a comparable ERP system
* Excellent networking, collaboration and presentation skills; ability to communicate, align and negotiate with all relevant stakeholders
* Business fluency in English
Desirable extras.
* SAP FI/CO expertise
* Experience with financial close automation tools, such as BlackLine
* Understanding of IT landscapes and technical dependencies
