The Sales Manager Thermoplastics represents REPI Group over the DACH Region and acts as a primary point of contact for the assigned customers, country or market segment. He/She organizes and executes commercial strategies and initiatives in accordance with REPI’s sales and profit targets for which has full responsibility on the execution. As part of a growing Environment He/She interacts constructively with colleagues and stakeholders (KAM, Product Managers, Technical Product Managers, others) to drive successfully the sales process to its realization.
Accountabilities:
1 - Business consolidation, customers loyalty and retention
* Being proactive in proposing to existing customers and their relevant stakeholders face to face and telematic interaction depending on culture and opportunities
* Monitor new business opportunities and spot unmet needs into existing customers and translate them to the capabilities of the REPI’s organization
* Guarantee a professional and serene flow of communication between the customers and REPI and prevent potential business churn
* Being accountable and responsible for the assigned business
* Create and share visit reports
* Populate a pipeline of new projects
* Capture and share relevant competitive environment information
* Full topline responsability, profitability target shared with pricing department
2 - New customers and market development
* Oversee and map relevant opportunities to increase REPI’s customer base
* Develop and maintain interactions with new prospects and seize right opportunities to increase our market share
* Conduct customer visits and document them through detailed visit reports.
* Guarantee the sales process progress in all its steps
* Detail and present overviews of addressable market
3 - Technical support and basic troubleshooting
* Guarantee the customers a knowledgeable interface to discuss and optimize performances of the product
* Being able to master and discuss basic hydraulic and engineering aspects around liquid dosing systems
* Suggest to customers fine tuning of process parameters to optimize results
* Bridge and address advanced troubleshooting to internal REPI colleagues or partners
4- Reporting and accountability
* Become knowledgeable about customer business potential
* Document, target and plan how to maximize REPI market share (define a budget)
* Collect technical information to foster effective support from all REPI organization
* Coordinate and support interaction between customer and colleagues (Customer service, Technical Product Managers, Equipment specialist)
* Monitor test results of new samples, communicate outcomes to technical and sales teams, and oversee claims management in collaboration with Technical Product Managers
* Maintain regular contact with Repi departments, attend sales meetings, and ensure close collaboration across teams.
Skills and experience :
* Experience and track record of successful sales management in industrial polymers b2b environment for at least 4 to 6 years
* Entrepreneur and customer oriented;
* German and English fluent;
* Independent and curious and hungry for new business;
* Open to travel within the assigned area up to 50% and attend in person on request meetings in the plant, conferences and shows;
* Presentation skills;
* IT basics skills;
* High level of mental agility and problem-solving aptitude
* Hydraulic/engineering knowledge
* Polymers Chemistry background
