Position Summary:
The Bauer Account Manager Partner Sales – SE Asia is responsible for driving the growth and support of partner business across assigned regions, focusing on strategic market analysis and acquisition of new sales and service partners. This role requires effective communication and reporting, working closely together with regional sales colleagues. Key activities include organizing regular review calls, supporting partners with application and offer preparation, and participating in trade fairs and joint customer visits. The position also involves monitoring competitor activities, managing partner contracts, and collaborating with marketing to leverage promotional tools. Regular travel is required to maintain strong partner relationships and achieve business objectives
Responsibilities:
1. Holistic support and expansion of the partner business in the assigned countries/regions
2. Market analyses and acquisition of new strategic sales/service partners
3. Development of technical and application solutions for the assigned partners/countries
4. Introduction and maintenance of communication tools with our partners: Score-card, Rolling Forecast, Offer Tracking, Partner Teams Channel and Lead Following and Assignment
5. Regular reports and implementation of monthly or bi-monthly review calls with the TOP partners
6. Close cooperation and coordination with the respective, regionally responsible sales colleagues in the above-mentioned countries.
7. Application support, offer preparation (selection/configuration) for the assigned partners/countries/regions in close cooperation with the Inside Sales Partner Manager
8. Participation in national/international trade fairs and meetings, in collaboration with our Partners
9. Training of partners to ensure they are effective in product offerings, sales procedures, technical applications and supporting the continuous development of partner expertise
10. Joint visits with the partners to target customers
11. Drawing up and monitoring partner contracts
12. Monitoring competitor activities
13. Close co-operation with marketing and use/application of marketing tools
Education, Experience & Skills Required:
14. Engineering degree, preferably in mechatronics, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering
15. At least 5 years of experience with electrical and mechanical drive technology
16. Experience with SAP (or other ERP systems) beneficial
17. Understanding of CRM system, preferably Salesforce, preferred
18. Strong presentation & communication skills
19. Knowledge of written and spoken English
20. Growth-orientated, strategic thinking and approach
21. Confident in dealing with customers on the phone, via Teams and on site
22. Travel up to 50%
