Job Title: Head of Sales/Sr Sales Manager - Personal Care & Cosmetics

Novaris search has partnered with an innovative ingredient manufacturer who have a range of active ingredients for skin care, sun care, hair care and neighbouring industries. They have achieved remarkable growth in Europe last year and as they continue to expand, they're looking for a dynamic Sr Sales Manager to support their sales efforts across Germany, Portugal, Spain and CIS countries.
This role is onsite with travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership:
- Direct and oversee all sales activities within assigned region, with a significant emphasis on the German market.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with company goals and market demands.
- Strategic Development:
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
- Collaborate with senior management to define long-term strategies and budgets.
- Team Building & Management:
- Recruit, train, and mentor a talented sales team to ensure high performance and engagement.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the sales department.
- Account Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key existing accounts while actively seeking new business opportunities.
- Performance Tracking:
- Monitor sales metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management, providing insights
Requirements
-Proven experience to generate sales in personal care and cosmetic market
-Strong experience selling active ingredients into personal care/cosmetics
-English and German language
-Experience with the German personal care market (experience with other territories like Spain, Portugal, CIS countries is not essential but is of interest)
-Personable character
