The Role
In this fast-paced and exciting position, you'll play a pivotal role within the product team, driving data-driven initiatives and advancing product features. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including backend and mobile developers, ensuring the seamless implementation of new features that meet high standards. This position will be 50% BI / Data, 30% queries, and 20% product management.
Responsibilities :
* Oversee and deliver technical projects and product features on time and within budget.
* Analyze data and KPIs to uncover opportunities for performance optimization.
* Collaborate with the product and growth teams to define the strategy and roadmap for mobile and web applications.
* Conduct in-depth user behavior analysis (data mining), identify patterns (data analysis), and provide solutions based on insights.
* Serve as the go-to expert for all Business Intelligence (BI) topics within the organization.
* Manage and execute feature experiments from start to finish.
* Embrace a growth mindset, always seeking learning opportunities for both yourself and the team.
* Take ownership of the data warehouse and develop internal reports.
* Be an integral part of the Growth and Product teams.
* Work closely with the Marketing, Customer Care, and CRM departments.
* Stay informed on industry trends in software development, particularly in relation to Apple Store Connect and Google Play, as well as project management best practices.
You’re a great fit if you :
* Have at least 4 years of experience in a similar role (BI Analyst, Data PM, etc.).
* Possess at least 4 years of experience in a technical field related to B2C or B2B products (backend, frontend, mobile development, product management).
* Have advanced knowledge of R or Python.
* Are skilled in project management and comfortable handling multiple projects simultaneously.
* Have a background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Business Intelligence, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Are highly proficient in SQL, including experience with BigQuery and PostgreSQL.
* Have hands-on experience working in a product team or closely collaborating with product groups, particularly in delivering digital consumer-facing products (e-commerce, games, or ideally education / health).
* Are passionate about learning and staying updated with the latest technologies.
* Have personal experience using digital health, education, or productivity apps.
* Are located in a time zone within 2 hours of Germany.
* Possess strong problem-solving abilities.
* Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Thrive as a team player and enjoy supporting your colleagues.
Bonus Points for :
* Experience in conceptualizing and executing A / B tests.
* Previous work with mobile applications.
* Basic knowledge of German, French, Spanish, or Italian.
