Job Location Frankfurt am Main or Regensburg, Germany Job Description Lead and develop a global category team. Build and maintain a network within the category and across other categories to exchange expertise and best practices. Coach and develop team members and support them with problem resolution. Control category performance and ensure attainment of targets. Conduct market analysis and drive strategy definition with cross‑functional partners. Document and implement strategy in all business areas worldwide. Support GCM with BEN evaluation and development of the strategic supply chain finance plan. Influence the sourcing process through supplier selection, price negotiations and contract negotiations. Conduct annual negotiations to continually improve cost position of AUMOVIO if escalated. Apply negotiation concepts (e.g., Advanced Negotiation Concept) to support and execute bundling within the category. Negotiate deviation costs with suppliers. Ensure all contractual obligations are met through binding contracts. Ensure timely implementation of correct data in the relevant IT systems. Oversee monthly review and correction of local data and target achievement. Support re‑design efforts in cost‑reduction programmes. Qualifications Academic degree in business, engineering or equivalent. Extensive purchasing experience. Multiple years of management experience. Knowledge in project management, tools, techniques and risk management. Understanding of the procurement process and product life cycle (PLC). Procurement management experience, e.g. quality system standards (IATF 16949/VDA 6.1). Technical knowledge of relevant components. Commercial knowledge, e.g. contract law. Strategic, profit‑and‑results‑oriented management skills (Balanced Scorecard, Benchmarking …). Proficient German and English in written and spoken communication. Team spirit, conflict management, openness, networking. Presentation, negotiation and cross‑cultural communication skills. Problem‑solving and decision‑making tools and techniques.
