The Account Manager is responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with our key clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales and account management, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the hospital software and hardware landscape as well as relevant market trends.
Under the general direction of the Sales Director DACH and the Country Manager Germany, the Account Manager Germany will be responsible for managing all aspects of Account Management for Teladoc Health products and the organization with a specific focus on the Business Unit Hospitals and Health Systems.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key existing clients, serving as the primary point of contact for all their needs and inquiries.
* Understand the unique requirements and challenges of each key account and tailor the after-sales support program to meet their specific needs, e.g., including training programs, reporting, business review meetings, issue resolutions etc.
* Communicate with clients clearly and address their concerns, and resolve any conflicts that arise
* Monitor and analyze key account performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
* Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure the timely delivery of products and services to key clients.
* Identify new business opportunities within existing key accounts and work towards expanding the company's footprint within those accounts. This may include expanding volume of device and software sales within one specialty area or expanding into new specialty area moving clients towards enterprise virtual care clients.
* Working with their sales colleagues, negotiating contracts and pricing agreements with key clients, ensuring profitability and long-term sustainability for both parties.
* Lead client conversations in contract renewals and situations in which existing devices get to ‘end of life’ and upsell opportunities arise
* Contribute information to sales strategies by assessing current Teladoc products and solutions and monitoring competitive products
* Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities, providing strategic insights and recommendations to senior management.
* Attendance at medical congresses and conferences or other sales events
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
* Proven track record of success in sales and account management, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
* Excellent communication (German & English) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
* Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering value and driving growth.
* Deep understanding of the hospital software and hardware landscape and relevant market dynamics, with the ability to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
* Relevant network in hospitals preferred
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
