A leading pharmaceutical manufacturer that we are partnered with are expanding its operations and is seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager – CAPEX to manage high-impact investment and optimization projects.
If you’re experienced in delivering complex engineering projects within GMP-regulated environments and want to contribute to life-saving pharmaceutical production, this opportunity is for you.
Your Role
* Manage capital investment projects from concept through to integration into routine production
* Lead interdisciplinary project teams, coordinating expansions, technical installations, and process enhancements
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in line with all performance, compliance, and quality targets
* Drive procurement and vendor evaluations using established project management tools (e.g., FMEA, decision matrices)
* Identify process improvements using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
* Prepare GMP-compliant project documentation such as specifications, risk analyses, and qualification protocols
* Support and oversee qualification activities (FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, PQ)
Your Profile
* Degree in mechanical, process, electrical, or supply engineering or a similar technical field
* Several years of experience managing investment or production plant projects—preferably in the pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing sector
* Proficient in process and MSR (measurement, control, regulation) technologies
* Strong understanding of industry-specific safety and technical regulations
* Confident communicator with excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
* A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to drive decisions and outcomes
* Fluent English language skills (written and spoken)
