Job Title: Sales Manager (KAM)

Location: Nuremberg, Germany (Hybrid Work Model)

About the Client and Role

Our client, a top-tier global automotive supplier, is looking for a skilled Key Account Manager to strengthen its strategic collaboration with one of the world’s largest automotive OEMs.

Based in Nuremberg, this position is ideal for a commercially driven professional with extensive experience managing automotive OEM accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving strategic account growth, securing new business, and managing core commercial activities such as pricing, contract negotiation, and claims handling.

Responsibilities

· Develop and execute strategic account plans to expand and solidify business.

· Identify and convert new business opportunities.

· Drive commercial negotiations, including pricing strategies, contractual terms, and claims resolution.

· Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within the OEM.

· Collaborate closely with internal teams—engineering, R&D, supply chain, and quality—to ensure project success.

· Track market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to uncover new opportunities.

· Clearly communicate customer expectations across all internal departments to ensure seamless execution.

· Work in partnership with project and program management teams to coordinate timing, technical requirements, and change management.

Skills and Qualifications

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field.

· 5–10 years of experience in key account management in the automotive industry.

· Proven track record in new business development, commercial negotiations, and managing claims.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

· Strategic thinker with strong organizational skills and commercial acumen.

· Fluency in both German and English is essential; additional languages are an advantage.

· Willingness to travel within Germany and across Europe as required.
