Overview

COHAUSZ & FLORACK is a law firm of patent and IP attorneys that has, for more than 70 years, worked to protect ideas in patents, brands, and designs. Responsibilities

In this role in the Jahresgebührenabteilung, you will support patent and IP attorneys with correspondence to clients, offices, authorities, and international colleagues. You will maintain deadlines and oversee the processing of annual and renewal fees worldwide. You will contribute to the development and optimization of internal processes and adapt them to changing legal requirements domestically and abroad.

With colleagues, you will participate in current discussions and help ensure smooth communication, accurate fee handling, and timely payments. After onboarding, there is an option to work part of the time remotely.


Qualifications

We welcome both entry-level candidates with completed training as Patentanwaltsfachangestellte/n and experienced professionals in comparable roles such as Fachsekretär/in in a patent law firm. Strong German and English communication skills, both written and spoken, are important. You should be precise and detail-oriented. Prior experience with the PatOrg program and paying annual fees with deadline monitoring is preferred, but not mandatory. A professional and high-standard approach to work is expected.
