We are currently looking for you in Hamburg as a Driver (m/f/d) for direct placement as soon as possible.
This is the Profile You Bring as a Driver (m/f/d):
* Driver's license: You need a valid Class B driver's license to operate the delivery vehicle.
* Driving experience: Experience in driving delivery vehicles or similar-sized vehicles is an advantage.
* Route planning skills: Basic skills in using navigation systems or apps for route planning are required.
* Good physical fitness and stamina: The job of a package delivery driver can be physically demanding, as you will frequently lift, carry, and deliver packages. Therefore, good physical condition is important.
* Stress resilience: The ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure, especially during high delivery volumes or unexpected problems.
* Reliability: You should be reliable and punctual to ensure that packages are delivered on time and in perfect condition to customers.
* Knowledge of traffic regulations: Knowledge of traffic rules and safe driving practices are essential to avoid accidents and reach your destination safely.
* Shift work: Willingness to work in different shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required.
Your Responsibilities as a Driver (m/f/d):
* Pick up packages at the depot: At the beginning of your shift, you will drive to a distribution center or hub to pick up the packages assigned to your route.
* Load the vehicle: You will load the packages into your delivery vehicle, ensuring they are securely stored and arranged according to the delivery sequence to save time later.
* Navigation and route planning: You will be provided with a special app that assists you in navigation and calculates the fastest route for delivery.
* Scanning the packages: You will scan each package with the app before loading it into the vehicle and again upon delivery to update the status in real-time.
* Delivery: You will follow the planned route and deliver packages directly to customers' doors, ensuring each package is safely placed or personally handed over.
* Pay attention to special requests: Some customers may have special instructions (e.g., leaving packages in specific locations), which will be noted in the app.
* Vehicle maintenance and cleanliness: You are responsible for keeping your delivery vehicle in good condition, including regularly checking fuel/battery levels, tire pressure, and cleanliness.
