We are looking for a Sales Account Manager Germany, to join our Flavors Europe team.

This position either office-based in Strasbourg, France OR home-based in Germany. Online collaboration and international travel is required.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales Account Manager will be responsible for developing value-added ingredient sales activities to sweet and savory food industry accounts. A major focus in this role will be engaging and collaborating with key decision makers to develop and obtain new sales. This includes developing, implementing and managing account-specific strategies to achieve sales goals and coordinating creative projects to bring benefit to the customer.

What you'll do:

1. Regularly visit prospects and customers with presentations to understand their needs and link with product portfolio.
2. Interface with primary customer's purchasing and technical organizations in order to solicit new business, and to participate actively on long term projects.
3. Develop and manage relationships with top management with selective major accounts.
4. Develop and execute a territorial coverage plan (in writing).
5. Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of all assigned accounts.
6. Ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
7. Submit request for samples or projects; ensuring that adequate information is on the request so that product management can make appropriate business decisions.

What you'll bring:

8. A bachelor's degree or equivalent education
9. Fluency in German and English (spoken and written) is mandatory
10. Sales experience in B2B ideally with value added products; Junior or technical applicants will also be considered (in this instance, no sales is experience required if you’ve got the drive to win, a curious mind).
11. Ability and willingness to travel to multiple customers through assigned territory (travel can be up to 60% with frequent overnight travel)
12. Ability to work both autonomously as well as with a team; you will bring a high level of self-discipline and motivation
13. Be a good relationship builder with excellent communication skills
14. Dynamic, with high drive and passion to win!
