Sales Manager

Our client, a leading provider of data and information services to the automotive industry, is part of a global organisation with a history of success in the automotive aftermarket. The Sales Manager role is within their European operation, located in state-of-the-art headquarters in Cologne. As a Sales Manager, you’ll lead a dynamic team of around 10 inside sales professionals, operating in a fast-paced sales environment, developing strategy and driving success. Salary: circa €70-75k basic + bonus, OTE around €100k

What you’ll need:

1. Proficiency in German and English is essential for this role.
2. Proven success in leading a direct sales team within a B2B environment.
3. The ability to utilise data and insights to create strategies and new initiatives.
4. Able to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders at all levels and influence them.
5. You should feel comfortable navigating a fast-paced, multifaceted environment.

What you’ll be doing:

6. Provide guidance and leadership to the internal sales team in Cologne.
7. Consistently achieve revenue and growth targets.
8. Develop a strategy for inside sales and encourage excellence.
9. Monitor call quality and continuous improvement.
10. Generate reports and forecasts for the senior management team.
11. Keep up to date with competitor activity and market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats.
