You’ll make an impact by:We are seeking a Product Manager to drive our grid SCADA software product portfolio to the next level, acting as the entrepreneur for her/his products and ensuring they are providing a highly attractive customer value proposition:
7. Understand power grid customer workflows in detail and anticipate future needs in the light of technical and regulatory trends
8. Continuously and proactively monitor competition
9. Engage with leading customers worldwide to validate pain points, solution approaches and their business value
10. Establish and own the business case
11. Translate the identified business need into (functional and non-functional) requirements and refine them in close collaboration with R&D
12. Own and continuously challenge the product roadmap with a strategic mindset
13. Consistently seek for opportunities to create enhanced customer value also by implementing use cases that combine several products from the broad Siemens Grid Software portfolio
14. Design and implement suitable pricing strategies for optimized value capture
15. Drive product campaigns in collaboration with Marketing that convince the target audience of superior user value
16. Ensure a suitable operational value chain across pre-sales, sales, delivery, after sales
17. Support sales with strategic opportunities, especially complementing sales discussions with technical expertise; perform sales enablement
18. Develop and maintain an active user group
This is how you'll win us over:
19. Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with longtermin working experience with a grid operator company, a manufacturer or as a consultant
20. Power system engineering background with a good understanding of operational workflows in the field of grid control
21. Software business skills, agile mindset (including co-innovation methods, prototyping, …)
22. Pronounced entrepreneurial mindset and experience
23. Balanced personality, showing ownership and commitment for the assigned product while consistently making strictly rationally justified decisions and carefully anticipating business threats and acting proactively; constructive-critical attitude to oneself and others
24. Good problem-solving and analytical skills as well as the ability to work in and motivate cross-functional teams
25. Fluent in English and German; further language skills are a plus
