Optimus Search is collaborating with a leading company based in Jena, renowned in the semiconductor sector for their expertise in micromechanical and optoelectronic components. This company works closely with clients on plasma processes, utilizing laser-driven analytical techniques to deliver highly accurate measurements. Employing around 550 professionals worldwide, with a turnover of approximately 130 million EUR, the organisation operates from four locations in Germany.
They are currently searching for a Product Manager for Plasma Technologies to add to their department.
Your Tasks:
* Identify market trends and opportunities: Conduct in-depth analyses of the plasma technology landscape, monitor competitors, and anticipate emerging trends to guide strategic product decisions.
* Drive product innovation: Work closely with R&D, engineering, and production teams to design groundbreaking products and continuously refine existing solutions for maximum performance and market impact.
* Shape product strategy: Develop clear, actionable product roadmaps and strategies that align with company objectives, ensuring innovation and profitability go hand in hand.
* Engage with customers: Build strong relationships with key clients, gather insights on their evolving needs, and translate feedback into actionable product improvements that drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
* Enable sales success: Craft compelling marketing materials, product documentation, and training programs that equip the sales team to position products effectively and win in the market.
* Oversee financial performance: Take ownership of the product line budget, monitor KPIs, and ensure products achieve their commercial targets while maximizing ROI.
Your Profile:
* STEM degree in engineering, physics, materials science, or a comparable field.
* Several years’ experience in product management, ideally in semiconductors, plasma technologies, or related industries.
* Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of market and customer needs.
* Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with fluent English and strong German skills.
* Willingness to travel occasionally within Germany and abroad.
