A Snapshot of Your Day Global Account Manager (f/m/d) is responsible for the development and management of global customer accounts, with end-to-end responsibility for the entire account lifecycle. This role requires collaboration with Regional Hubs and Business Areas to ensure the successful development of global customer accounts. The Global Account Manager will establish and guide a virtual Account Team based on required developments, initiatives, and opportunities as per the strategic Account Development road map. While the focus is on one customer, the Global Account Manager may support several accounts.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Own and manage global customer accounts with full end‑to‑end responsibility, focusing primarily on one key customer while supporting additional accounts as needed.Drive account development through close collaboration with Regional Hubs, Sales, and Business Areas to ensure global growth.Establish, lead, and coordinate a virtual Account Team aligned with strategic initiatives and opportunities.Maintain accountability across the full lead and opportunity lifecycle, with handover to regional sales or execution units depending on stage, scope, and business model.Lead negotiations for Global Frame Contracts and Master Purchase Agreements, ensuring a harmonized and holistic Siemens Energy approach.
What You Bring
Long term experience in global account management or a related role, with a proven track record of successfully developing and managing global customer accounts.Experience in the energy sector is preferred and considered a strong advantage.Proven experience in global account management (or a comparable role), including contract and agreement negotiations.Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively lead virtual, cross‑functional teams.Strategic mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities; knowledge of the energy sector and Siemens Energy’s portfolio is an advantage.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse, cross‑functional teams.Strategic and analytical mindset with proven capability to manage multiple priorities, negotiate successfully, and resolve conflicts constructively.
