Are you an ambitious and connecting Account Manager who wants to make an impact on the future of sustainable and innovative cultivation systems in greenhouse horticulture within the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)?

You will play a key part in developing and executing a growth-oriented sales strategy, managing budgets, and strengthening customer and dealer relationships. What are you going to do?

As Account Manager DACH, you are fully responsible for the sales, service, and support activities for greenhouse vegetable cultivation in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. You develop and implement the regional sales strategy, manage the budget, and continuously optimize the commercial organization within the horticultural sector.

You build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, direct customers, and key stakeholders across the value chain. Most of your work will take place from home and on-site with customers, supported by regular (virtual and physical) meetings with your Grodan colleagues. You will also contribute to innovative projects that push the boundaries of sustainable growing systems.

Tasks and responsibilities

1. Identify and seize commercial opportunities while establishing and maintaining long-term partnerships across the DACH countries;
2. Maintain strong (network) relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as grower groups, consultants, and supply chain partners;
3. Represent Grodan as the face and main point of contact for all greenhouse horticulture partners in the region;
4. Participate in trade fairs, seminars, conferences, and open days to promote Grodan’s solutions;
5. Prepare and implement sales plans and budgets aimed at improving sales performance and market presence;
6. Report internally on sales and commercial activities, market trends, competition, and product developments;
7. Support and promote local recycling initiatives aligned with Grodan’s sustainability goals.

What do we ask?

8. A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and at least 3–5 years of proven experience in account management; experience in greenhouse horticulture is a strong plus;
9. Excellent relationship management skills with distributors, customers, and stakeholders;
10. A driven, analytical, and result-oriented mindset with a proactive and independent working style;
11. A natural connector who creates value for both customers and Grodan;
12. Excellent communication skills in German and English (spoken and written); Dutch is a plus;
13. Willingness to travel regularly and sensitivity to cultural differences.
