We are supporting a well‑established manufacturing organisation looking to strengthen their upstream production planning capability. This is a critical role owning short‑term production schedules, balancing demand, capacity, materials, and inventory in a fast‑moving industrial environment.
What you’ll be doing
* Creating and aligning weekly production plans based on central demand inputs
* Translating plans into process orders within SAP and tracking execution
* Monitoring capacity, materials, tanks/silos, and manpower — and acting early if issues arise
* Coordinating closely with logistics and procurement to manage inbound/outbound flows
* Planning and ordering raw materials from suppliers
* Owning key KPIs such as OTIF, inventory, costs, and asset efficiency
* Supporting inventory counts and stock accuracy
* Acting as cover for downstream planning when required
This is a hands‑on role with real ownership and visibility across the site.
What will make you a good fit
* Background in production planning / scheduling within manufacturing
* Several years’ experience in a comparable role
* Strong working knowledge of SAP (R/3)
* High confidence in Excel and MS Office
* Comfortable operating in high‑pressure, high‑volume environments
* Clear, confident communicator able to work across functions
* Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
