Your impact in this position:

As a ( Senior) Product Owner:in (f/m/d), your mission is to drive efficient product development processes and act as the critical bridge between business and technical teams. You take full ownership of the end-to-end product development process in a growing SaaS environment, ensuring structured, scalable execution of strategic goals.
To fulfill this mission, you navigate exciting challenges: You translate roadmap epics into prioritized user stories with clear acceptance criteria, ensure team focus on value-creating tasks, and manage the balance between diverse stakeholder interests. You maximize value delivery in each sprint while significantly contributing to increased efficiency, quality, and satisfaction across the organization.


What you can expect:

* End-to-end ownership : You take full responsibility for features throughout the entire development cycle from initial requirements analysis and technical implementation to successful release and beyond.
* Process moderation: As a moderator, you ensure consistent adherence to agile development processes such as Scrum or Kanban by defining clear responsibilities, setting timelines, and guiding the team through structured meetings.
* Technical requirements management: Translating complex business requirements into precise technical specifications and user stories, always taking into account architectural decisions, API design, system integrations, and technical feasibility.
* Cross-functional Coordination: You professionally orchestrate collaboration between different teams frontend, backend, DevOps, and other stakeholders and ensure that everyone involved works in sync and pursues common goals.
* Dependency Management: You proactively identify dependencies between teams, features, and technical components, manage them systematically, and ensure that blockers are identified and resolved early on.
* Stakeholder Communication: You communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders on an equal footing, translate between business and tech language, and ensure that all parties involved are always kept informed in a transparent manner.
* Commitment tracking: Consistently track team commitments, hold the team accountable for agreed goals, and deal with delays or deviations constructively but firmly, even in the face of resistance.

What you bring along:

* Experience: You have at least 5 years of professional experience in software development or technical product management. Ideally, you have already worked in SaaS environments and are familiar with the specific challenges of cloud-based products.
* Technical Expertise: You have in-depth knowledge of software architectures, API design, and agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban, you understand technical contexts in depth and can competently evaluate architectural decisions.
* Communication Skills: You effortlessly build bridges between technical and non-technical stakeholders by communicating complex technical issues in an understandable way while translating business requirements into tech language.
* Process-Driven Approach: Through strategic planning, you design effective workflows, monitor for critical interdependencies, and identify challenges proactively before they result in delays.
* Decisiveness & Leadership Competence: You make confident, clear decisions and stick to them, even when challenges arise – through your interpersonal skills and your talent for leading and inspiring teams without a formal leadership position.
* Language Skills: Fluent English at C2 level enables you to communicate confidently in international teams; German language skills are an advantage.
