Then we will look forward to meeting youYour responsibilitiesAct as the customer's representative for quality across assigned projects, ensuring contractors, suppliers, and partners comply with contractual, regulatory, and industry quality requirements.Establish, maintain, and oversee the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) from late-stage development through execution and project closure, ensuring consistent application of quality standards.Review, approve, and manage quality documentation including Quality Plans, ITPs, Method Statements, and related records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and traceability.Conduct and oversee audits, inspections, and surveillance of contractors and suppliers to verify compliance with approved standards, specifications, and quality management systems.Identify, document, and manage non-conformances, driving timely resolution in line with contract terms while preventing recurrence.Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, HSE, Construction, and Project Management teams to align quality objectives and deliver integrated project outcomes.Provide timely reporting to leadership on quality risks, deviations, and potential impacts on project delivery, ensuring transparency and proactive risk management.Drive continuous improvement initiatives by defining quality requirements in RFQs/RFPs, applying lessons learned, leveraging digital tools, and promoting best practices across the project lifecycle.Reports to Quality Mangement Team Lead.Your profileBachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Management, Construction Management, or other relevant discipline3 –5 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in quality management oversight of large-scale or multiple mid-sized solar projects in the UK/Europe.Proficient in quality management tools, auditing techniques, and reporting methods (ISO 9001, NCR handling, corrective action management)Experience auditing and managing contractors and suppliers against customer quality requirementsGood understanding of Civil, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical quality standards, codes, and drawingsAble to work independently while engaging collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams and external stakeholdersFluent in written and spoken English (additional European languages of our markets is a plus)Good Knowledge of digital tools such as MS Office, EDMS, QMS SoftwareRecognized quality certifications (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or equivalent)Willingness and ability to travel as required to Project sites (Approx. 50 %)Your benefitsAt Uniper, we not only reward our employees with attractive salaries, an excellent company pension and health related benefits for their hard work and dedication to shaping the future energy transition.
