Job Purpose
The Site Quality Manager ensures quality assurance and compliance across the project site, supporting the project management team with all quality-related matters. This role is critical to ensuring supplier and subcontractor quality, reducing risk, and driving continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Project Quality & Compliance
* Act as the main interface for all project quality issues, including customer interactions
* Execute and follow up on Quality Plans, Test Plans, and the Completion System
* Review and verify all site quality documentation
* Ensure quality requirements (ITPs, ITRs, procedures, drawings) are properly communicated and implemented
* Monitor quality control processes across civil, mechanical, and electrical erection and commissioning phases
* Support customer, third-party, and authority inspections and approvals
* Coordinate site audits (internal and external), including subcontractor audits
System, Tools & Reporting
* Deploy and train staff on completion systems, NCR, CCRP, and quality tools
* Track calibration of testing and measurement equipment
* Monitor site KPIs, punch lists, and open actions related to quality
* Provide regular status updates and risk reports
* Maintain and archive quality documentation per site and system requirements
Continuous Improvement
* Drive corrective and preventive actions to closure
* Participate in internal quality audits
* Ensure lessons learned are captured and transferred to future projects
* Support ongoing site process improvements and CoQP reporting
Candidate Requirements
Education & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, technical discipline, or quality management
* Minimum 5+ years ’ experience in site quality for construction or operations
* Industry experience in power, energy, or similar process-driven sectors
* Certified ISO 9001 auditor
* Experience with test coordination and site inspections
* Familiar with construction codes, standards, and quality best practices
Skills & Competencies
* Strong process management and change management capability
* Practical experience with quality tools, completion systems, and auditing
* Certified L6S Belt preferred
* Results-driven, detail-oriented, proactive mindset
* Skilled communicator with ability to engage across all project levels
* Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office + quality software/tools)
* Fluent in English & German (written and spoken)
* Valid driver’s license
