The Tribe Payments Settlement is seeking a Product Owner to join its Squad and play a key role in shaping the product vision.
About the Position:
As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for developing the purpose of your Squad, defining the steps to achieve it, and engaging with stakeholders to deliver exceptional value to customers.
This role combines the responsibilities of a Customer Journey Expert with additional key duties, making you an integral part of the leadership team and a vital support for the Tribe Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the Squad and its members in daily tasks structured in User Stories and Features.
* Manage stakeholders, prioritize the backlog, and provide clear guidance on the product vision to ensure focus and resolve impediments.
* Deliver input to the Tribe Lead on status and plans, along with impediments, improvements, and dependencies.
* Update the Tribe Lead and other PMs on new developments that can impact the portfolio.
* Be part of the Tribe leadership team.
* Ensure that Squad improvements and development ideas are aligned with the product vision and strategies.
* Be accountable for getting feedback from stakeholders and improving the Squad's way of working and team performance.
* Belong to a Chapter based on your job function and continually develop your craftsmanship and way of working.
* Ensure that Business and Tech understand and complement each other's expertise.
* Align the purpose of your Squad with the Tribe's purpose and main stakeholders.
* Help the Squad deliver value incrementally and iteratively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong analytical and judgement skills to recognize key information, identify problems, establish connections, and validate before acting.
* Deep knowledge of customer experience and payment processes, integrating acquired knowledge into task performance.
* Strategic thinking ability to develop long-term visions based on professional expertise.
* Ability to act as a connector between squads and diverse stakeholders.
* Capability to present solutions, roadmaps, and milestones to higher management, simplifying complexity and improving products and processes.
* Supporting an agile organization and performing as a team, trusting and encouraging each other, and giving feedback to promote continuous improvement and team development.

Experience:
* Proven experience (ideally in banking or Payment environments) in Project Management/Product Management or Product Ownership (at least 5 years of relevant experience).
* Knowledge on payment/SWIFT Messages.
* Capacity to interact with different stakeholders (internal/external) and negotiate contracts with providers.
* Master degree preferably in Economics/Finance.
* Good track record in change execution and goals achievement.
