Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day operations of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems
* Supervise maintenance and emergency repairs of HVAC, switchgear, PDUs, UPSs, and fire suppression systems
* Lead technicians and coordinate external service providers to ensure uptime and safety compliance
* Oversee infrastructure upgrades, retrofits, and fit-outs with internal and external partners
* Optimize energy use and track operational KPIs and sustainability metrics
* Develop and maintain SOPs, EOPs, and MOPs for standardization and efficiency
* Ensure regulatory compliance with local codes and environmental, health, and safety standards
* Conduct root cause analyses and implement preventive/corrective actions
* Maintain full documentation and asset records for systems under management
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience in facility or operations management in a data center or critical infrastructure setting
* Expertise in HVAC, power distribution, UPS/generator systems, and construction coordination
* Technical degree or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facility Engineering
* Solid understanding of uptime requirements and risk mitigation in mission-critical environments
* Proficient with BMS/EMS/DCIM systems and industry operational best practices
* Fluent in German and proficient in English
* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
