What we are looking for:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic account manager with a passion for marketing. This role sits at the heart of everything we do for our clients, helping to deliver results driven marketing campaigns, and maintaining exceptional day-to-day client relationships. At TMP you’ll develop an excellent understanding of your clients’ objectives, ensuring campaigns with a wow factor are delivered consistently to brief. You’ll manage projects, working closely with a director to deliver on budget, on time, guiding the team and our clients through the delivery.

What you will do:

Client Management;

1. Regular communication to provide real-time updates on day-to-day activities.
2. Co-ordinating status meetings, providing reporting including updates on the work, timelines and budgets, highlighting any blockers or risks.
3. Participate in briefings, capturing client requirements and reporting needs.
4. Capture feedback, distribute and follow up on action points.
5. Supporting your account director, building your relationships with clients through responsiveness, clear communication and by managing expectations.

Program Management;

6. Liaise with team members to understand roles and responsibilities, processes, and delivery tasks.
7. Create supporting project plans and resource plans.
8. Work with our traffic manager to resource and schedule team members.
9. Write production briefs and facilitate kick off meetings.
10. Drive teams through the delivery of the work, co-ordinating schedules, organising meetings and providing clear actions and deadlines.
11. Find solutions to resolve blockers or challenges to the successful delivery of the work.
12. Review and critically appraise work to ensure that it meets the brief and is ready to share with the client.

Commercial Management;

13. Create project estimates, quotes and statements of work, with support from your director.
14. Responsible for managing project finance admin – such as raising purchase orders and invoices and updating and maintaining accurate forecast data.
15. Tracking and reporting on time, cost and overall budget spend and profitability of your projects.
16. Escalating commercial risks to your director.

Business Development;

17. Identify opportunities for TMP to extend its scope of work within your existing projects and work with your Account Director on how to move these forward.

Success is measured by;

18. Team feedback.
19. Client feedback.
20. Project profitability.
21. Accuracy and stability of delivery in line with plans.
22. Accuracy of project finances.

Requirements

Who you are:

23. A project manager with a strong desire to advance in a marketing career.
24. Easy to approach.
25. Have a positive and resilient mindset, taking proactive steps in all aspects.
26. Effective in communication, both verbally and in writing.
27. Pragmatic, approaching work with a logical mindset.
28. Actively listens, curious, and willing to ask questions to gain necessary information.
29. Ready to contribute unique ideas and perspectives.
30. Excellent at time management, able to prioritize workload and handle multiple projects/clients simultaneously.

What you will need;

31. Previous marketing or agency experience.
32. Some understanding of different types of marketing campaigns.
33. Experience of managing some cross-discipline teams (for example - asset production, strategy, creative, technology, media).
34. Proficient with IT including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
35. Experience of project management tools and processes.
36. Experience of commercial management estimating costs, tracking and managing budgets.
