Summary:
Develop global Strategic category strategy related to EE and Cable to optimize total cost and lead time; teaming with buyers from different plants, drive strategic sourcing initiatives and major negotiation to delivery saving results.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify global supply chain- and major project needs, participate in negotiations of contracts and terms with suppliers.
* Ensure compliance with legal, ESH, regulatory and company standards, market required cert. in supplier selection, contracting, and ongoing management.
* Lead to develop new suppliers and related sourcing activities for global category, run global RFQs
* Support major project with best cost to help win projects.
Requirements:
* Major degree in EE Engineering or Mechanical engineering is primary, PMP would be nice plus.
* 10 -15 years or above professional experience in strategic sourcing, category management, hands on.
* Ability to work in cross-functional, cross regional team environment.
* Familiar with supplier evaluation and selection methodologies, including risk assessment and performance management.
* Well-rounded with commercial experience and Engineer BA (or above) background.
* Fluency in German and English is mandatory (knowledge of Italian will be considered as a plus)
Locations: The role can be also based in Italy, Sweden or Germany (Overath or Hausen) with flexibility.
