HR Business Partner - Germany (gn)
For our client, a fast-growing international technology company, we are currently looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to strengthen the People team in Germany.
Purpose of the role The HRBP serves as a trusted adviser to people leaders and local teams, combining strategic HR insight with hands-on execution. Reporting directly to the CHRO, this role takes ownership of the full HR lifecycle across the German entity while actively shaping and delivering group-wide people initiatives in a dynamic, international environment.
Tasks
* Partner with managers and people leaders in Germany, providing practical HR guidance across the entire employee lifecycle
* Lead the rollout of global people projects, including performance management, talent reviews, and engagement initiatives
* Translate HR strategy into repeatable, locally compliant processes, ensuring adherence to German employment law
* Own organisational restructuring initiatives, including change management, stakeholder communication, and Works Council engagement
* Work in close collaboration with the Works Council, ensuring constructive dialogue and compliance throughout people-related initiatives
* Leverage people data and insights to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement across countries and functions
Requirements
* 5+ years' experience in HR, including at least 3 years as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager in an international environment
* Proven track record of scaling or transforming HR within a growing business
* Strong understanding of German employment law and Works Council collaboration
* Skilled in conflict resolution, mediation, and employee relations
* Analytical, process-oriented, and solution-focused — comfortable navigating ambiguity and fast-paced change
* Full professional proficiency in both German and English
