Associate Sustainability Project Manager (m/f/d)

MOBIS Parts Europe N.V. is the European branch of Hyundai MOBIS, a worldwide leading supplier of genuine parts and accessories in the field of automotive. Together with Hyundai Motors and Kia Motors, Hyundai MOBIS is one of the biggest companies within the Hyundai group. In addition to research and development of high-tech products for passenger cars, MOBIS Parts Europe N.V. is responsible for the whole aftersales business of genuine parts and accessories for Hyundai Motors and Kia Motors in Europe.
Your profile
* University bachelor/master's degree, preferably with a focus on Materials /Chemical / Environmental engineering field, Sustainability management or Compliance management
* Working experience in the automotive industry, in the field of sustainability management or a comparable qualification are preferred but not essential
* General project management expertise in a complex supply chain
* Sound understanding of automotive products and technical/ legal requirement related European Green Deal
* Ability to interpret regulation, develop compliance process for business implementation
* Full IT literacy (MS Office, especially strong Excel Skills)
* Fluent in Business English (written and spoken), additional languages (Korean, German) welcome
* Highly organized and having solid understanding in a sophisticated, multinational and multi-cultural organization
Your tasks
* Research on existing and future EU regulations in the field of EU Green Deal/ ESG and identify relevant regulatory requirements. (e.g. REACH, IMDS, CSRD Reporting, Corporate due diligence, EU Taxonomy, Decarbonization, Extended producer responsibility, Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation, etc.)
* Implementation of policies and procedures for technical and environmental compliance across all business units
* Monitor and investigate legal requirements relevant to our products and distribution process to the market
* Present key results and compliance status to top management on a regular basis
* Conduct other projects/tasks as requested in the team regarding ESG related Topic
* Coordination with external and internal stakeholders in the EU area and HQ in South Korea regarding sustainability management project
