Your role
As a Sales Manager in our B2B Satellite Communication (SatCom) team, you will support business development and sales activities for satellite-based communication and IT solutions in the German market.
You will work with modern, leading multi-orbit satellite technologies and services, including LEO and MEO constellations such as Starlink, OneWeb, Iridium, as well as hybrid telecom solutions combining satellite, terrestrial, and IP-based connectivity, addressing customer needs across commercial and critical infrastructure environments.
Working closely with senior sales managers, solution architects, and operational teams, you will support the full sales cycle, from lead qualification and requirement analysis to offer preparation and customer presentations, contributing to the growth of Telespazio Germany’s B2B SatCom connectivity portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support sales and business development activities for SatCom and IT solutions, including data connectivity, managed network services, backup and redundancy solutions, and value-added services based on Starlink, OneWeb, Iridium, and similar satellite networks
2. Identify and qualify new business opportunities in sectors such as:
Energy and utilities
Critical infrastructure
Hospitals and healthcare
IT integrators and service providers
3. Understand customer requirements and help translate them into reliable and scalable SatCom connectivity solutions
4. Support preparation of offers, proposals, and customer presentations
5. Actively support customer meetings, workshops, industry events, and trade fairs
6. Coordinate with technical, operational, and commercial teams to shape end-to-end solutions
7. Maintain and manage sales activities, opportunities, and pipelines using Salesforce CRM
8. Prepare reports, presentations, and sales documentation using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Your Profile
9. 2–5 years of professional experience in B2B sales, account management or business development, ideally within:
Telecommunications
IT or network services
Satellite communications
or similar technology-driven environments
10. Initial exposure to B2B customers in sectors such as energy, critical infrastructure, healthcare, or IT integration is a strong advantage
11. Experience working with Salesforce CRM is highly desirable
12. Fluent German (mandatory)
13. Fluent English (mandatory)
14. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
15. Structured, proactive, and customer-oriented mindset
16. Ability to understand technical solutions and translate them into clear customer value propositions
17. Willingness to travel within Germany (occasionally internationally may be required)
