Manpower is recruiting a Supply Chain Planner – Industrial Operations for one of its clients operating in the industrial sector, as part of a temporary assignment based in Luxembourg.
Your missions:
Manage CTP (Capable To Promise) and lead times within IT planning tools: perform manual order confirmations when required, follow up on Less Than Lead Time requests with all stakeholders, and produce weekly reports on lead times and planning campaigns in Master Planner
Create, update, and delete product data in planning tools (Master Planner, rate maintenance, etc.)
Coordinate in- and outsourcing flows: order allocation, purchase order creation, pallet creation and upload into ECC6 upon receipt, lead time and campaign scheduling
Prepare and participate in the Weekly Master Production Scheduling (MPS) meeting: analyze plant data prior to the meeting, adjust production line schedules based on business priorities, follow up on Manufacturing Experiments (ME) and product qualifications on new assets, coordinate load rebalancing and late order reviews with root cause analysis and updated availability dates, ensure alignment of capacity and forecasts, and issue weekly MPS reports
Support and prepare the weekly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meeting: consolidate lead times and available capacities per product family and plant, update data in Master Planner/ECC6, and follow up on S&OP decisions with key stakeholders
Report IT-related issues (ECC6, OMP+ suite) to ensure timely resolution
Propose and support workload balancing between plants
Identify risks in material supply and develop contingency plans to minimize production disruptions
Follow up on qualification processes, allocation processes, and support VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) replenishment activities
Your profile:
First experience in supply chain, production planning, or industrial environment is highly appreciated
Strong understanding of production processes and material requirements planning
Strong analytical mindset with excellent data handling skills
Advanced computer literacy, especially Excel (pivot tables, data analysis) and Outlook
Experience with ERP systems (SAP ECC6 preferred) and/or planning tools such as OMP+ is a plus
Highly organized, reliable, autonomous, and able to meet deadlines
Ability to prioritize tasks and make decisions under pressure
Strong communication skills, able to interact clearly and effectively across all levels and in a multicultural environment
Customer-oriented mindset (internal and external), solution-driven approach
Team player with strong interpersonal skills
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory; French, German, or Italian is an advantage
APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) is a plus
Compensation is set at EUR 3,250 gross per month (x13 months), with a start date as soon as possible and a contract running until 31/08/2026.
