We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to help us continuously improve and optimize our operational performance, generating efficiencies through metrics and technology. You will work cross-functionally to gain a global view of current operations and identify improvements, leveraging data and existing or new technology products, innovating, and detecting synergies that benefit AFP. You will oversee existing metrics, establish governance mechanisms, and conduct deep dives into major influencing factors. This role offers the opportunity to make business-critical decisions that will enhance operational performance and influence the direction of the Middle Mile business at a senior level.
You will collaborate with Operations, Program Development, Global Tech, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Carrier Management, Network Planning, and other teams within Surface Transportation to develop initiatives that transform our operations. We seek a data-driven, innovative problem solver who is comfortable solving ambiguous problems and focused on customer satisfaction. Experience working with global teams across all organizational levels is essential.
Key job responsibilities
1. Design, implement, and monitor metrics to track operational and program growth, highlighting issues promptly with proper governance.
2. Align and collaborate internally and cross-organizationally to enable a single source of information, performing in-depth analysis of major influencing factors.
3. Develop a deep understanding of tools, data, products, and teams, working on complex problems involving technology and business performance, leveraging existing tech solutions to improve efficiency.
4. Gain global domain expertise, assess technology roadmaps, and work closely with tech partners to identify pain points, synergies, and value-adding initiatives.
5. Use data to drive decision-making, analyzing feedback and results to improve transparency of key metrics.

Minimum qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent
* Advanced computer literacy (Excel, Word); familiarity with Tableau, Quicksight, SQL, Python is desired
* Experience with strategic and tactical projects
* Proven experience in product management, program management, or technology roles
* Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop strategies using qualitative and quantitative data
Preferred qualifications
* Master’s degree
* Experience owning or driving roadmap strategy and definition
* Strategic thinking and methodical execution skills
* High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities
