Who We Are — And Why This Role Matters
We are Start to Finish.
No startup can grow without the right team.
That's why we help fast-growing startups and scale-ups — including brands like Snocks, SellerX, Mellow Noir, Pets Deli and many others — hire the key people that drive their businesses forward.
With over 100+ happy clients, we are the #1 recruiting boutique for e-commerce startups in the DACH region.
And now, our client is looking for you.
An investor‑backed scale‑up that buys used e‑bikes, restores them to “as‑good‑as‑new” standard in its own industrial hubs, and ships them to riders across Europe and the US through a high‑growth online marketplace. They have already refurbished and sold over 100,000 e‑bikes and are racing toward a bold target: getting one million refurbished bikes back on the road by 2030, cutting urban emissions while making premium light electric mobility radically more affordable.
Tasks
About the role
As Product Manager for the Operations squad, you’ll build the internal platforms that power refurbishment centers across Europe: logistics, repairs, quality control, photography, storage, and shipping. Your goal is to make complex physical operations scalable through smart product decisions, great UX, and tight collaboration with operations teams.
You’ll work closely with designers, engineers, country teams, and on‑the‑ground users (mechanics, handlers, supervisors), using Shape Up to focus on the most impactful problems.
What you’ll work on
* Design and evolve internal tools used daily by operators and mechanics in 7+ refurbishment centers.
* Run hands‑on discovery: visit centers, shadow users, and speak with managers to understand workflows and pain points.
* Shape and prioritise problems worth solving; clearly define scope and success metrics.
* Drive delivery with designers and engineers, unblocking decisions and ensuring high product quality.
* Measure impact through KPIs and experiments; iterate quickly on shipped features.
* Collaborate with supply, commerce, and operations squads across 10+ markets.
Requirements
* 2+ years in Product Management (we’re open from solid mid‑level to senior profiles; scope will adapt).
* Background in high‑intensity environments: tech scale‑ups, marketplaces, logistics, or similar.
* Ambitious and optimistic; you push for bold solutions rather than shrinking ideas to fit constraints.
* Strong judgment and accuracy in your decisions; you care about getting to the right answer, not just following a process.
* Low ego, high integrity; you’re collaborative, honest, and direct.
* Self‑driven: you take initiative and act without waiting for instructions (including last‑minute travel to a center if that’s what it takes).
* Customer and user‑obsessed: comfortable running your own discovery; there is no dedicated UX research function.
* Analytical, with attention to detail; comfortable with data, KPIs, and experimentation (SQL is a plus or you’re motivated to learn).
* Bonus: experience building tools for blue‑collar / industrial users.
* Fluent in English; French or German are a plus but not required.
