Are you ready to drive the future of advanced therapies?
* In this role, you will lead high-priority projects focused on translating early-stage cell and gene therapy (CGT) drug candidates into clinical applications. Your work will directly/indirectly support key regulatory milestones such as Clinical Trial applications, Marketing Authorization Applications (MAA) and Biologics License Applications (BLA).
* You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the organization, including scientific research, intellectual property, non-clinical development, manufacturing, regulatory affairs, finance, and business development. Together, you will ensure the successful execution of strategic projects.
* As Project Manager, you will develop and manage detailed project plans, overseeing resource allocation, budgeting, and risk management.
* You will coordinate the preparation of R&D documentation for regulatory submissions and provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress and key developments.
* Additionally, you will organize and lead project meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes to ensure alignment and transparency across all involved teams.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for
* You hold a PhD in life sciences, ideally with a strong focus on oncology and/or immunology.
* Over many years, you have gained substantial experience in the biopharmaceutical, biotech, or pharmaceutical industry, including some years in project management. Ideally, your work has centered around the development of cell and gene therapies.
* You have demonstrated leadership in managing complex, cross-functional, and often global teams. These teams have included experts from scientific research, intellectual property, non-clinical development, manufacturing, regulatory affairs, finance, and business development.
* You are proactive by nature, able to anticipate potential risks within projects, and skilled at developing and proposing effective mitigation strategies. Your communication is clear and solution-oriented, even in challenging situations.
* You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, and ideally also possess good German language skills.
