We are looking for a commercially minded and energized Account Manager to successfully help us to deliver outstanding results for both our customers as well as the LEGO Group.

Please note: This position will be based in our LEGO Sales Office in Grasbrunn, close to Munich and will follow a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and up to 2 days remotely. Relocation support is not offered.

Core Responsibilities
As an Account Manager you'll manage the relationship and business operations for a key retailer within the D-A-CH Sales Team and thereby ensure our strategic business goals & objectives. Your core responsibilities will be:
* Commercial Planning: Own the critical activities that serve as the foundation to collaboratively build and implement integrated business plans that outline strategic, financial and operational plans to deliver short and long-term commercial success.
* Value-Based Selling: Effectively align the LEGO Customer Value Proposition with the specific needs of the customer in a reasoned and compelling way to build positive relationships and achieve joint objectives.
* Mutual Revenue and Profit Growth: Deliver positive impact on profitability for LEGO GmbH and our customers by leading customer initiatives that deliver improved return on investments.
* Stakeholder Management: Based on the retailer's structure, functional leadership in collaboration with internal collaborators such as Field Sales colleagues and an Agency Specialist role in the team as well as several external collaborators on customer's side.
* Consistent Brand Execution: Collaborate across the LEGO Group to ensure the flawless shopper experience is consistent across all regions of the retailer in delivering the LEGO brand values. Use cross-functional insights and analytics to develop shopper strategies that achieve excellent execution with consistency at all points of purchase.
* Value Chain Optimization: Understand the S&OP process to drive a consumer driven agenda with the customer and act in due time on key operational deadlines.
* Grow Active Consumer Base: All activations & projects with the retailer ought to fuel the goal of actively increasing the LEGO Group's active consumer base and thereby reaching more kids for us as a brand.

We are a deeply professional sales team collaborating effectively across Europe Central (D-A-CH) to improve the business potential of the channel, whilst building the brand through engaging online and in-store experiences targeting both consumers and shoppers.
Do you have what it takes
* Some years of work experience in commercial driven functions preferably in Key Account Management front-line roles
* Proven track record in key customer management, ideally within the FMCG market
* Experienced in managing customer P&L (independently)
* Advanced negotiation skills, assertiveness
* Relevant experience in POS activations
* Profound knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint & Teams
* Proficient in German and English
