We are establishing our new subsidiary in Germany and are seeking an experienced Key Account Sales Manager to drive business development in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria (DACH region). The primary focus is to engage with major electrical and automation companies, offering servo motors, servo drives, HMIs, and motion control solutions, with the potential for OEM/ODM customization and joint product development. The ideal candidate will excel at building senior‑level relationships, identifying strategic cooperation opportunities within customers’ product roadmaps, and bridging customer needs with our strong R&D and manufacturing capabilities in China. This role is critical to develop long‑term, high‑volume collaboration with top European industrial brands. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Key Account Development Identify, target, and develop strategic relationships with automation, machinery, and electrical equipment manufacturers in the DACH region. Establish strong ties with product management, R&D leadership, purchasing, and executive decision‑makers. Understand customers’ product strategies and long‑term roadmaps to identify opportunities for OEM/ODM or jointly developed product lines. 2. Solution‑Based Sales Promote our portfolio of servo motors, servo drives, HMIs, and motion control products, focusing on value, performance, and cost competitiveness. Engage deeply with customers to translate their technical and functional requirements into feasible proposals with support from China‑based R&D teams. Lead customized solution discussions, including technical alignment, feasibility evaluation, prototypes, and business case development. 3. Project Ownership & Coordination Act as the bridge between the DACH customer teams and our headquarters in China, ensuring efficient communication across engineering, product management, supply chain, and quality departments. Drive OEM/ODM project launches, follow‑up engineering validation, and ensure successful mass‑production transitions. Manage project timelines, commercial offers, contracts, and long‑term agreements. 4. Market Insights & Business Strategy Conduct competitive analysis and track technology and product trends in the industrial automation sector. Provide structured market insights and customer feedback to headquarters to guide product planning and R&D priorities. Support the strategic expansion of our brand and solutions in the European market. Qualifications & Requirements Professional Background Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Business, or related fields. 5+ years of experience in key account sales, business development, or product management within industrial automation or motion control. Experience working with major automation brands or suppliers (e.g., Siemens, Beckhoff, SEW, Lenze, Bosch Rexroth, B&R, KEBA, etc.) is highly preferred. Proven success in OEM/ODM, customized solutions, or joint development projects is a strong advantage. Capabilities & Skills Strong technical understanding of servo systems, motors, drives, HMIs, and related industrial control technology. Excellent relationship‑building skills with senior executives, product managers, R&D experts, and procurement teams. Ability to translate customer needs into product concepts and coordinate with engineering teams. Strong commercial acumen and negotiation ability. Language & Communication Fluent in German and English (written & spoken). Cross‑cultural communication skills and experience collaborating with Asia‑based teams. Other Requirements Willingness to travel within the DACH region. Self‑driven, entrepreneurial mindset, and comfortable working in a newly established regional organization.
