<p>This is a full-time position. This position is responsible for production assembly, inventory management and test support for all Cognex products assembled, inspected or tested in Aachen.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Essential Functions:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Perform assembly and test functions with fixtures for cameras in a timely fashion and in accordance with the defined procedures.</li><li>Enter results in the applicable quality database.</li><li>Use automated test equipment and specialized fixtures, to perform function test procedures, after training</li><li>The ability to recognize, document, and escalate test and quality related issues for both product and process.</li><li>Perform unit inspections and minor repairs when necessary.</li><li>Assist in minor troubleshooting, inspection, and material support.</li><li>Handle and manage incoming materials required for engineering prototypes and production builds, tracking it through SAP and performing periodic cycle counts.</li><li>Support electrical engineer with boards components soldering/rework Support test engineer during test fixtures assembly and wiring</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: </u></strong></p><ul><li>Able to work individually or in a group/team environment with flexible work conditions</li><li>Able to interpret BOMs, process flows, work instructions, deviations and purges</li><li>Proficient in PC quality data entry, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint preferred Able to read electrical drawings preferred</li><li>Ability to solder preferred</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Minimum education and work experience required: </u></strong></p><ol><li>Professional education “Elektroniker für Geräte und Systeme” or similar</li><li>Preferably 1-2 years’ experience in assembly and test environment</li><li>Experience using SAP or equivalent ERP systems (preferred)</li><li>English skills</li></ol>
