The Governance & Projects unit at Deutsche Börse AG serves as a central hub for governance-related topics. With a central function perspective, we manage large, cross-divisional projects that are not directly tied to business or IT.
Lead cross-divisional, non-business, and non-IT projects with full accountability for scope, budget, and timeline
Identify, analyze, and manage project risks
Track and report project progress to steering committees and senior management
Own, maintain and further develop the Project Management Policy by integrating evolving industry best practices and lessons learned as well as oversee group wide adherence
Lead and develop a group wide Project Management Working Group and contribute to the Deutsche Börse Group Project Management Community
Contribute project management expertise to the team to support team-led initiatives
10-15 years of experience in project management, ideally within the financial sector and complex organizational structures
~ Project portfolio management, governance and controlling skills, with experience in maintaining project management frameworks and ensuring policy adherence across diverse project environments
~ Comfortable to take a leading role in any project, while applying a content driven leadership approach
~ Project Management certification, PMI, Prince 2 or equivalent
~ Excellent communication and presentation skills in both German and English, with experience in engaging with senior stakeholders and ability to transport complex topics clearly and persuasively
~ Passion for building and leading professional communities, with the ability to connect people, share best practices, and drive engagement in project management topics
