Your tasks
As Product Owner (Product Manager) you will be responsible for the product development of the route planning software and act as the central interface. Your main tasks include
12. Product strategy: defining and continuously sharpening the product vision, strategic goals and roadmap.
13. Backlog management: responsibility, prioritization and maintenance of the product backlog (epics, user stories, acceptance criteria).
14. Agile processes: Active support and prioritization communication in sprint planning, reviews and refinements.
15. Requirements analysis: Derivation of business, customer and data requirements and their translation into realizable stories (e.g. in JIRA).
16. Rollout & coordination: Planning releases, deciding on go/no-go and coordinating the rollout with all internal and external departments involved.
17. Stakeholder management: Transparent communication and management of stakeholders (e.g. development, marketing, sales, support).
18. Quality & documentation: Ensuring quality, compliance and user experience (definition of done, data protection) as well as setting up and maintaining a Confluence page for documentation.
19. GoLive & Support: Management of the UAT (User Acceptance Test) in coordination with the UAT Manager, preparation of the GoLive (incl. cutover planning) and support of the HyperCare phase.
Your profile
Experience: Several years of sound experience as a product owner. Experience in route planning is desirable.
Certification: A certification such as PSPO, CSPO or PSM is an advantage.
Agile methods: Expertise as a product owner and in agile methods such as Scrum/Kanban.
Technical tools: Strong prioritization and backlog management skills as well as confident use of Jira/Confluence or similar.
Soft skills & analysis: Strong decision-making and conflict resolution skills, very good communication and moderation skills as well as confident stakeholder management.
Customer focus: Strong analytical skills, data literacy (KPIs) and a strong customer centricity.
Language skills: Very good written and spoken English skills are required.
Technical understanding: Basic technical understanding of web/app architectures and interfaces.
