Capex Buyer

Fonction :
· Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy for all AMTB plants aligns with the AMTB’s goals, incorporating benchmarking data to ensure best practices are followed.
· Supplier Selection: Identify new suppliers, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors who can provide the required goods and services at the best value, quality, and within established timelines.
· Cost Analysis: Consolidate demand of all plants, analyze and compare supplier quotes, negotiate terms and conditions, and ensure cost-effectiveness in all purchasing decisions.
· Budget Management: Collaborate with finance teams to manage budgets for both CAPEX purchases, ensuring cost control and adherence to financial targets.
· Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, conducting performance evaluations and addressing any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
· Contract Management: Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
· Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels by monitoring stock levels, implementing efficient inventory control methods, and minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.
· Coordination: Collaborate with different plants and departments and ArcelorMittal group purchasing function to ensure alignment of procurement activities, share best practices, and coordinate multi-site purchases efficiently.
Profil :
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
· 5 years or more experience in procurement and supply chain management, with a focus on CAPEX purchases.
· French AND english
· Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and techniques.
· Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· In-depth understanding of budget management and financial analysis.
· Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
